On July 13th, the Tourism & Publicity Division (Chair: Mr. SAWADA Takafumi, Japan Airlines Co., Ltd.) hosted a lecture titled “Latest Trends in Inbound Tourism to Japan for 2026 and Strategies for ‘Two-Way’ Tourism Exchange Between Japan and Thailand,” featuring Mr. NAKASUGI Hajime from the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Bangkok Office as the speaker.


During the lecture, Mr. NAKASUGI shared the latest trends in inbound tourism from Thailand to Japan, analyzed the travel motivations of Thai visitors, and highlighted the growing importance of social media in influencing travel decisions. He also provided insights into promoting two-way tourism exchange between Japan and Thailand.
