On July 9th-10th, the Chemicals Division (Chair: Mr. HORIBE Yoshihisa, AGC Vinythai PCL.), the Environment Committee (Chair: Mr. WATANABE Keiichiro, Mitsui Chemicals (Thailand) Co., Ltd.), and the Garment & Textiles Division (Chair: Mr. ISHIHAMA Taizo, Toray Industries (Thailand) Co., Ltd.) jointly organized a lecture series and workshop in collaboration with the Japan Chemical Industry Association (JCIA).


The first day featured a workshop designed primarily for Thai employees working at Japanese chemical companies in Thailand. The morning session focused on Thailand’s regulatory framework for chemical substances. Mr. Thanawat Thongsuksang and Ms. Tachakorn Boonwan from Green & Blue Planet Solutions Co., Ltd. delivered presentations on "An Overview of Chemical Substance Regulations and Procedures for Industrial Chemicals" and "Recent Trends in Thailand’s Chemical Regulations," providing participants with practical knowledge and the latest regulatory updates.


In the afternoon session, Mr. MORIMOTO Tsutomu and Mr. FURUKAWA Hiroshi from the Japan Chemical Industry Association (JCIA) led an engaging workshop on non-technical skills. Through a combination of lectures, interactive discussions, and team-based activities, including games, participants explored the importance of communication, collaboration, and teamwork in the workplace. The session emphasized how these essential skills complement technical expertise and contribute to a more effective and productive working environment.
